This year’s Have a Go Day on Wednesday 13 November provided lots of fun, entertainment and a great opportunity for Juniper to connect with the community.
The Juniper stand was one of more than the 180 stallholders at Burswood Park. Juniper also proudly sponsored the main entertainment stage where crowds were treated to non-stop music and dance performances.
Juniper staff from across the organisation met hundreds of people throughout the day with enquiries about Home Care, Retirement Living, Residential Aged Care, our Transition Care Program, respite and more.
There was a bounty of delicious food to sample expertly prepared by Juniper’s dedicated catering team.
Enormously tasty meatball sliders, pea and ham soup tasters and colourful birthday cupcakes proved popular across the day.
Giveaways such as snazzy Juniper baseball style caps, which were a must on such a gloriously sunny day, were in high demand.
A prize draw for one of ten $100 gift vouchers was held on and the winners have been notified.
Organised by the Seniors Recreation Council of WA Inc., the annual Have a Go Day remains a popular fixture for people aged 55 and older to participate in activities that help keep them boost physical and mental activity.
