Juniper is thrilled to announce the launch of the Juniper Talent Community — a new, easy way to express an interest in joining our team, even if you’re not applying for a specific role right now.
The Juniper Talent Community is an online platform where you can sign up to get notifications about job openings that match your skills and interests.
Getting started is simple — just create a profile, set your job preferences and you’ll receive alerts when the right opportunity comes up.
Our Recruitment team also reviews the Juniper Talent Community before advertising jobs, so if you’re already in the pool, you’ll be among the first to hear about new roles with us.

Juniper CEO Rusell Bricknell said the Juniper Talent Community was a wonderful way for Juniper to both attract and retain staff.
“At Juniper, we’re committed to providing exceptional care, accommodation and support to older Western Australians, ensuring they stay connected to what matters most to them,” he said.
“But we can’t do that without a team of dedicated, caring people who share our values.
“The Juniper Talent Community means we now have a direct line of communication with people who are interested in coming to work with us … while also allowing those who already work with us to be notified of any jobs internally.”
Mr Bricknell added he hoped using a recruitment tool like the Juniper Talent Community would go some way to helping address the national ongoing shortage of workers in aged care.
“Australia is projected to need at least 110,000 more direct care workers by 2030, with up to 50,000 new workers required annually to meet demand,” he said.
“It is our hope this system not only makes it easier for people to find work in the aged care sector but also helps our valued, existing staff find new opportunities within Juniper.”
Want to know what’s great about working in aged care?
- Working with older people offers a unique perspective on life. Their stories, wisdom, and experiences can teach invaluable lessons about resilience, patience, and the importance of cherishing every moment. It’s about as rewarding as it gets.
- The aged care sector is broad and diverse. Whether you’re passionate about providing hands-on care, working as a nurse or therapist, or prefer a more managerial or administrative position, there’s a role in aged care for everyone.
- The aged care sector is ever evolving. Professionals in this field often have access to continuous training and development opportunities, ensuring they stay updated with the latest practices and techniques.
- Over the past decade the number of Australians aged 80 and above has increased by approximately 30,000 individuals per year. It is projected this will double to over 60,000 by 2030, so there’ll be an ever-increasing demand for qualified professionals in the aged care sector.
We value the skills and passion Juniper staff bring to their roles.
In return, we provide diverse job opportunities across all areas of aged care, with locations throughout Perth and Western Australia.
We also understand that life changes — whether you’re studying, caring for family, or looking for more hours — which is why we offer flexible roles, including casual, part-time, and full-time positions.
So, if you have the passion, skill and kindness needed to provide the very best for our customers, we’d love for you to grow your aged care career with Juniper.
