With spring nearly on our doorstep, residents from our Juniper Trinity Residential Aged Care Home recently took advantage of the sunnier days with a trip to the gorgeous Ellis Brook Valley in Martin.
Nestled in the Kelmscott foothills, residents took a leisurely stroll (some with walkers!) or ride in their wheelchairs to explore the scenic bush trails throughout the natural reserve.
Along the way, they spotted local wildlife, admired colourful wildflowers (Ellis Brook has more than 500 varieties!) and enjoyed the gentle sounds of the local stream and waterfall.
At Juniper, bus outings are an important part of our residents’ social calendar – it helps them stay engaged and connected to their local community and is also a good mood booster!
After all, who doesn’t love enjoying the sun’s rays in the great outdoors!
